The Makers

The Makers

Jupiter J. Makins

Writer. Director. Producer.

Jupiter J. Makins wrote Bully Fighters because she felt she was called to do so.  "It started from an email notification in my inbox regarding a film festival.  I get a dozen of those a day and delete them out without looking at them.  But for some reason I couldn't delete this one.  Every day I'd click all the "junk mail" around it, delete them from my in box so I could go through pertinent emails.  After two weeks of this, it bothered me that this email lingered in my inbox so I opened it up, skimmed through it and deleted it.  The next day it showed back up in my inbox...  continue reading

Patricia McKenzie

Producer.  Actor.

Patricia McKenzie joined Bully Fighters because she felt it was a strong story to tell.  "I read the script and wanted to give the character Reggie Shore the power I believed she had (in the meeting with the judge) with a sense of vulnerability (when she meets the mother).  I also came on board as Producer in order to bring the resources and tools I had to help make the film a great indie film.    I believe we accomplished that and more as we continue to push its message.

Special Thanks to

Douglas Bedouin, Executive Producer, who believed in Bully Fighters and helped fund the making of the film.

His support and efforts will forever be appreciated with much gratitude.

Bring Bully Fighters to your school or community!

Bully Fighters aims to change societal views on bullying from being child's play to a crime.  By getting more people talking about the malicious effects of bullying and influencing the laws to make a difference we can compel change.

For those interested in screening the film in their community, or if you'd like to show the film in your school please contact us. NOTE:  We have a Workbook to help facilitate educators.
